BLANK CANVAS WEDDINGS - For festival weddings, a blank canvas wedding venue is usually the best option, especially when budgeting for a wedding of 120 + guests. The venue, or field will charge a flat 3 or 4 day hire fee, so that you can hire this over the weekend exclusively. This also gives you the freedom to hire in your own preferred suppliers, from food trucks to outdoor bars, entertainment and glamping. Some festival wedding venues will also have extras available to hire, such as toilets, showers or generator power, and this will be reflected in the price. ALL outdoor wedding venues will allow you to set up the day before your wedding, some even offer 2 days before, so just check the details for each.
By hiring a blank canvas venue (i.e. just the field / woodland) you can totally express yourself by booking the best suppliers around, plus you won’t need to factor in any additional extras, which some inclusive venues may include within the hire fee.
We also have plenty of experience with large build outdoor set ups , so we can help and advise you with the infrastructure required, with personal recommendations for local suppliers, from generator hire ( this will power your event) to catering/food trucks, musicians / DJs, florists, outdoor bars, toilets, haybales, on the day co-ordinators and photographers etc.
EXPERIENCED WEDDING SUPPLIERS - If you hire local, most outdoor wedding suppliers work with each other on a regular basis every season, so they will probably be aware of the venue set up and what is required.
