Tribeca Tipis - About Us 

Welcome to Tribeca Tipis - Luxury tipi hire in Sussex and the South East. 

Based near Lewes, East Sussex, we are a family run business, bringing years of expert experience & expertise to outdoor weddings and events.

We are passionate about creating beautiful, bespoke & sustainable outdoor spaces with a festival vibe and bohemian feel.  Areas we cover are Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and London. ​

We fell in love with nordic tipis when we began our sister glamping business 'Brighton Bell Tents', in 2011 (one of the first glamping hire companies in East Sussex) and wanted to combine both together, to create festival style events.   Prior to working outdoors, we both worked as senior marketing and sales managers at Sony Music for over a decade, working closely with high profile artists including Jamiroquai, Reef, The Coral, The Zutons, Toploader and Des'ree.  We have also both travelled extensively across Asia, Australia, North Africa, Canada, Sweden & New Zealand - all places that have inspired our style and interiors.

Our tipis originate from Lapland in Sweden and are made from the strongest nordic timber poles and water repellent canvas on the market, providing a design aesthetic that is both beautiful and highly practical, for outdoor events, come rain or shine.​​​

Our tipis can be furnished inside with our reclaimed and vintage tables and chairs, bars, natural matting and fairy lights, plus our focus on natural textures, such as wood, bamboo, and rattan ensures that every event/wedding, not only looks beautiful and stylish, but also respects the environment.

We couldn't do all this without our core tipi crew - Jack, Caleb, Euan, Jamie, Charlie, Miles, Luke, Sol and Harry, who have worked with us for several years - truly experts in big scale festival weddings and event builds.
