Festival Themed Tipi Wedding In Hampshire

Updated: 3 days ago

Immy & Ed’s Festival Themed Wedding with Relaxed Vibes, Live Music, Outdoor Party Games, Tipis, and Glamping Tents at Hawbridge Farm, Hampshire!

Making a stylish entrance in a classic white MG, Immy & Ed celebrated their fabulous festival-themed tipi wedding at Hawbridge Farm in rural Hampshire.

The tipis were beautifully adorned with a pastel colour scheme, featuring pretty floral displays and ribbon bunting. Rustic milk churns marked the entrance, while a floral hoop hung above the tables. Glass jars filled with table flowers, were cultivated in the gardens of both Immy’s godmother and parents before the wedding. They were beautifully arranged by Immy’s godmother and Bridesmaid Lisa.

Throughout the day, Ed and Immy's guests enjoyed outdoor party games, a hog roast, and BBQ. A horse-box bar kept everyone refreshed! A saxophone player at the drinks reception added to the lively atmosphere. There were also lovely personal touches. The couple's tiered wedding cake, displayed on a vintage oak barrel, was lovingly baked by various family members and friends. Each contributed a layer, following a tradition inspired by Immy's godmother.

At dusk, the wedding party gathered around a fire pit outdoors, with hay-bale seating under a canopy of festoon lights. They enjoyed delicious wood-fired pizzas before a performance from their band, “Just for Tonight”. The newly-weds even succeeded in organising a rainbow on their wedding day, which is seen as a symbol of hope, good luck, and a divine blessing.

There was no time for hangovers though, a Ed, who is a PE teacher and football coach, arranged a special sports day event on Saturday, with the help of friends! This was followed by performances from singer-songwriter Issy and a silent disco into the early hours.

Immy and Ed's wedding was filled with unique touches that made their day special. From the rustic decor to the personal contributions from family and friends, every detail reflected their personalities and story.
