Boho inspired tipi showcase at Knepp Castle Estate in West Sussex
Our stunning Nordic giant tipis are carefully crafted from Lapland, Sweden and designed to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for any occasion. They create the perfect setting for boho and rustic-themed weddings and events. So, with an unexpected Indian summer this September, we hosted our very own tipi showcase within the stunning surroundings of Knepp Castle Estate in West Sussex, one of the amazing outdoor wedding venues we work with in the South East.
Knepp is a nature lover's paradise and during the open day we were blessed with an impressive stag walk by (captured by Orange Beach Bars). Videos below also include the white storks flying over the woods and a pony rainbow!
Working alongside a host of our trusted wedding and event suppliers, our aim was to bring a slice of autumnal rustic boho inspiration to this beautiful location, with it's wild surroundings and wildlife inspiring the tipi decor inside.
Thank you to everyone who came along to see us, this was definitely our busiest open day yet and it was great to meet new couples and also couples and families who have booked with us in 2024 and 2025. Also, a thank you to 'Hayley' one of our lovely 2023 brides, who not only supplied us with her giant wedding pampas cloud and dried flower table jar displays for the showcase delivering them via her horsebox van, but for also talking to guests about how fabulous tipi weddings are at the open day! x
The theme for our tipi open day was 'Boho Safari'. We we wanted to create a natural feel with dried florals and statement pampas stems - you just can't go wrong with the fluffy stuff for statement pieces!
We were lucky that one of our favourite photographer's Jo from While We Wander just had time to squeeze us in between weddings to take some gorgeous images to capture the day.
Fern Cottage Floristry
Laura from Fern Cottage Floristry, who also provided the tipi florals at our previous spring open day in April (featured on this blog), created these beautiful statement pampas and palm entrance displays, table stand pampas and also our bell tent flowers.
Whitney and Willow Floristry
We met Alex from Whitney and Willow, at one of our tipi weddings earlier this summer at Knepp, and Alex made a stunning dried boho flower cloud for us above the front table with pampas and dried hydrangeas.

For a really big statement piece, how about this gorgeous pampas cloud! This was hung in the central tipi in the chill out lounge area and was kindly loaned to us by one of our 2023 tipi brides, 'Hayley', who's friend created this for her own beautiful boho inspired wedding in August. We also used Hayley's dried table jar flowers and the bar basket display seen in our pictures. If you would like this at your wedding, you can hire it from Hayley too.
Make an entrance with this vintage VW split screen from Bugs and Bus Vintage Hire, who joined us for our video and photo-session on Friday, prior to the open day. This camper also doubles up as a photo booth too. What a stunner!

Guests were greeted with a welcome glass of complimentary prosecco, kindly provided by Emma and Jamie at Orange Beach Bars, who's gorgeous horse box bar proved very popular!

Lisa from Eat, Cake, Love delivered yet another showstopper with this beautiful rust coloured cake decorated with dried florals feathers and butterflies, again to highlight the wildlife and rustic beauty at Knepp.

Jen our stationary designer @ Created By Jen, designed these incredible illustrated bespoke menus, table numbers, bar welcome sign and name cards featuring the stags, storks and butterflies, all residents at Knepp.
Brighton Bell Tents
Outdoor festoon lighting and cabling were provided by Ben from Grizzly Bear Events who also supplies generators and chiller trucks. Rustic wooden signage is by Made By Jo with glamping bell tents from our glamping sister business 'Brighton Bell Tents.' with colourful terracotta outdoor/indoor rug by Sand and Salt
